We, no matter our age bracket need some form of physical exercise to maintain a healther and healthier body. It’s a established fact that people that attempt to exercise regularly live longer and havemore productive lives and are healthier us will most likely be capable to do, and respond better, to some type of exercise that puts less stress on the body. This physical exercise in just about all instances will be low impact aerobic exercise.
When you combine a good low impact exercise program with a cholesterol lowering diet there’s a really good chance that you will see a great improvement in a person’s over all health. The two things that genuinely have an impact on the over all health is the need in most instances to lower cholesterol and a need for cardiovascular exercise through a good aerobic workouts program.
Total fitness can be fulfilled through a low impact exercise program which deals with the whole body wherever possible. Even those with some types of limiting impairments can be involved in some type of low impact exercises.
To have a good low impact exercise program you should exercise (cardiovascularly) at least three days per week. Some advocate five days per week, but if you’re not in shape and a little more senior you may want to stay with the three times per week schedule.
